Ronhill Merino Seamless Gloves
Seam fee and mulesing free Merino gloves keep the chills of your fingers when running on cool days.
Constructed using a blend of polyester and merino, the Ronhill Merino Seamless Gloves are the perfect addition to your running wardrobe. Designed to provide warmth and durability the blend of fabrics is the ideal partner for outdoor runs. The polyester fabrication has higher strength and increased abrasion resistance for better durability whilst the merino wool has a unique quality, which will help lower your temperature when you start to overheat and warm you up when your temperature is low. The Merino Wool is soft against the skin and works hard to ensure long lasting comfort and warmth. Merino not only works to keep you warm by trapping heat within its fibres, it also manages moisture to keep you comfortable and dry at all times. Merino is also naturally very moisture wicking, ensuring that moisture is not stuck between the two layers and forces it to the outer layers where it can be easily evaporated. As well as this, the Merino is also naturally anti-microbial preventing the growth of odour causing microbes, keeping your gear smelling fresher for longer. The soft nature of the fabric sits comfortably against the skin whilst seam-free technology means unmatched comfort. The soft nature of the fabric reduces the risks of chafing and irritation so you can continue with complete comfort.
On the 9th September 1970 Ron Hill set up Ron Hill Sports. Ron Hill was the first ever person from Britain to win the Boston Marathon, in 2hrs 10mins 30secs. He also striked gold at the Commonwealth Games recording a time of 2hrs 9mins 28secs. Ron's unique combination of first hand running knowledge and a career as a textile chemist put him in a prime position to combine his passions and create a running brand. Ron was the first person to use synthetic fabrics in sportswear and invented a lot of the fabrics that today's latest products are based upon. Ron continues to inspire runners even into retirement. Ron has completed over 155,000 miles since he started his training log in 1956. Though even the greatest streak, must eventually end, as Ronhill has announced on the 29th January 2017, after 52 years and 39 days, he's finally going to have a day off.
