Description

The North Face Flight Series Lightriser Futurelight Jacket
Created in collaboration with trail running athletes, Flight Series takes you longer, stronger. And in the Lightriser, this translates to simplicity and low weight. But don't be fooled by its minimalist good looks; the seam-sealed Lightriser harnesses FUTURELIGHT technology to keep you dry in a highly breathable, featherweight package.
Designed to provide comfort and protection over long distances, the Flight Series Lightriser Futurelight- Jacket has been constructed using The North Face's signature Futurelight technology. The Lightriser Jacket is made from new FutureLight material, developed to be the worlds most advanced breathable-waterproof outerwear. The nano-spun membrane and unique laminating process take lightweight waterproof breathability to a new level. On long trail runs the outstanding freedom of movement and light-as-a-feather feel remove the need for a softshell. The lightweight fabrics help to regulate body temperature and keep you comfortable, whilst the waterproof fabric provides an impenetrable moisture barrier, for guaranteed dryness. To provide added protection, the hood can be adjusted to provide a secure and comfortable fit. The standard fit allows for maximum comfort and minimal distractions, and easy layering on cooler days. The minimalist design reduces weight without sacrificing protection. A full zip exists for complete temperature control, simply zip up to retain heat or zip down for extra ventilation. An internal mesh pocket allows you to store small essential items. Completing the jacket are reflective logos that increase your visibility to passing vehicles on late night adventures.
Sustainability – 100% recycled polyester.
The North Face Story
Named after the coldest, most unforgiving side of a mountain, The North Face has helped explorers reach the most unfathomable heights of the Himalayas for years. However, The North Face legend ironically begins on San Francisco's North Beach neighborhood, at only 150 feet above sea level. Here, two passionate hiking enthusiasts first founded a small mountaineering retail store in 1966. Soon after, this small shop became known as The North Face and began to design and manufacture it's own brand of technical apparel and equipment.
From there The North Face has grown extraordinarily, and now supplies a wide range of products for hiking, skiing, snowboarding, rock climbing and even ultra and trail runners. Continuing to expand all the time, The North Face pushes the boundaries of innovation so that you can push the boundaries of exploration. There's little telling what the next 50 years will hold for the company. However there is one certainty: The North Face will maintain an unwavering commitment to providing the best possible designs, so that you never stop exploring.
