The North Face VECTIV Enduris II Trail Running Shoes
The VECTIV Enduris II Shoes combines foot-propelling VECTIV technology with grippy soles for maximum support on the trail.
Breathable Air Mesh Upper
Designed to be lightweight and breathable, the VECTIV Enduris II uppers utilise an Air-Mesh upper. These materials have a flexible construction, allowing the mesh to contour to the shape of the foot, therefore providing you with an adaptable fit. Not only this, but these lightweight fabrics help to regulate the temperature of your feet, keeping you at an optimum level of comfort. Warm humid air that resides through the materials of the shoes is efficiently replaced by fresh, cool air, to keep feet comfortable, and therefore works to prevent your body from overheating. The shoes also have no-sew TPU overlays provided in areas that are high-wearing such as; the toes and heel, providing you with extra protection from knocks and bumps. An internal heel counter locks in the heel for a secure and stable fit whilst the soft padded tongue sits comfortably against the skin for all-day wear. Completing the VECTIV Enduris II's are a lacing system that locks down the midfoot to reduce in-shoe slippage so you can enjoy distraction-free strides.
VECTIV Technology Midsole
Designed to maximise energy on the trails, the midsole has been constructed using The North Face's revolutionary VECTIV technology. The VECTIV system works to provide runners with more energy return by reducing fatigue and helping them prepare for the next toe-off. VECTIV technology minimises energy loss, increases propulsion, and delivers an abundance of structural support making running feel effortless and giving you the confidence to reach new PB's. Within the midsole, a rocker geometry is engineered to create long-lasting forward propulsion so you'll always feel ready to take your next step. Alongside this, the dual-density 3D TPU plate resides underfoot to help with multi-direction stability and further assists with forward propulsion. The shoes utilise an OrthoLite X55 footbed that's made with 5% recycled rubber content. This lightweight, breathable compound features built-in moisture management and antimicrobial action for fresh, long-lasting comfort.
Surface Control Rubber Outsole
Designed to be hardwearing and grippy the Vectiv Enduris II Trail Running Shoes have been developed using The North Face's signature Surface Control Rubber Outsole. This bio-based outsole rubber compound has been specially designed to ensure traction on both wet and dry surfaces. Not only does the outsole work exceptionally well on wet and dry terrain but it also works to ensure multi-directional traction on a wide range of surfaces. The highly durable rubber is strong enough to withstand the toughest trails yet, is flexible enough to adapt to different terrain so you can have complete control. The durable rubber provides a strong grip on the most challenging terrain; it works to protect itself from damage, and protect users from losing control and slipping. The outsole is designed to hold firm on uneven terrain so you can have complete confidence on the toughest terrains. Completing the outsole are 3.5 mm lugs that provide the optimal balance between traction and durability on the trail. The lugs dig deep into wet mud and slippery rocks to ensure added traction and control. This will also benefit you by acting as a solid base for you to push off from when taking a stride, as well as digging into the ground when braking and changing direction.
The North Face Story
Named after the coldest, most unforgiving side of a mountain, The North Face has helped explorers reach the most unfathomable heights of the Himalayas for years. However, The North Face legend ironically begins on San Francisco's North Beach neighborhood, at only 150 feet above sea level. Here, two passionate hiking enthusiasts first founded a small mountaineering retail store in 1966. Soon after, this small shop became known as The North Face and began to design and manufacture it's own brand of technical apparel and equipment.
From there The North Face has grown extraordinarily, and now supplies a wide range of products for hiking, skiing, snowboarding, rock climbing and even ultra and trail runners. Continuing to expand all the time, The North Face pushes the boundaries of innovation so that you can push the boundaries of exploration. There's little telling what the next 50 years will hold for the company. However there is one certainty: The North Face will maintain an unwavering commitment to providing the best possible designs, so that you never stop exploring.
